What is Music4More?
Music4More is my commitment to do more with my work as a composer.
While music itself can have a profoundly positive impact, I also want the work to contribute in tangible, specific ways for causes, communities, musicians, and ensembles in need when the opportunity is there.
This commitment grows out of my early years teaching band and orchestra in Title I public schools serving lower-income communities, where I saw firsthand that music can have a profound impact beyond the notes on the page.
When I began my career as a composer, I intentionally built my small business in a way that would keep this mission as an important part of the work from the very beginning.
Music4More exists to turn that commitment into action.
IMPACT IN ACTION
Ukraine Consortium
Through the Ukraine New Concert Band Music Consortium, ensembles worldwide came together to support musicians in Kyiv and raise funds for humanitarian efforts.
Together, we raised nearly $1,500 to directly benefit musicians and citizens, while raising awareness of Ukrainian arts, culture, and their lived experience.
First Gen Success
Partnering with First Gen Success, I created custom music for promotional videos, supporting their mission to empower young girls to recognize their strengths, advocate for themselves, and pursue higher education as first-generation college students.
Their dynamic program bridges the generation gap and addresses economic disparities, giving students the tools and confidence to succeed.
Access for Students
Through Music4More, I’ve made my music more accessible by offering discounted music to underfunded public schools and small chamber works to full-time students of all ages.
These efforts ensure that under-resourced ensembles and passionate students still have the opportunity to perform high-quality music, grow as musicians, and share meaningful performances with their communities.
El Sistema Colorado
In 2026, I teamed up with the educators and students at El Sistema Colorado to create a new work for their orchestra. This music was created at no cost to the ensemble, allowing the students the experience of premiering a brand new string orchestra work.
El Sistema is committed to providing free instruments, lessons, and ensemble opportunities for young musicians — with priority enrollment for low-income families.

Does season support renew automatically?
No. Recognition lasts 12 months and I will contact you again 1 month before your term has ended if you'd like to support for another season.
